In order to thoroughly implement the national strategic deployment on improving the quality of education and promoting equity in education, Anqing Foreign Language School actively responded and implemented the 'Blue Project', aiming to accelerate the growth of young teachers and boost the overall teaching quality by means of mentoring pairing, resource sharing as well as teaching and learning. Recently, the Junior High School Division ushered in the half-session inspection of the Blue Project, the purpose of which is to comprehensively evaluate the implementation effect of the Blue Project, sum up experience and provide guidance for the follow-up work.
To be concrete, this inspection focused on the four core areas as follows: mentoring effectiveness, teaching quality enhancement, teaching resource sharing, and student feedback and evaluation, which formulated detailed inspection contents and standards. What’s more, the inspection team comprehensively and objectively evaluated the implementation of the Blue Project by consulting documents, listening to lectures, interviewing teachers and students, in addition to conducting questionnaires.
To conclude, during the inspection process, the young teachers showcased their high enthusiasm for learning and professionalism, who positively participated in mentoring exchange activities, took the initiative to undertake teaching tasks, and constantly explored and innovated teaching methods. Meanwhile, senior teachers gave full play to the role of guidance, sharing their teaching experience selflessly to help young teachers grow rapidly. Thus, with the joint efforts of teachers and students, the teaching quality has been significantly reinforced with high student satisfaction.
